Adel Adili is a visionary, multi-disciplinary Creative Director with over two decades of experience at the intersection of classical fine arts, advanced CGI, and product engineering. Based in Birmingham, UK, Adel has spent his career bridging the gap between artistic tradition and future-facing technology, directing projects from initial hand-drawn sketches to photorealistic execution.
His design philosophy is defined by “Industrial Futurism,” a unique aesthetic that merges functional industrial and medical mechanics with the visionary sci-fi design language of Syd Mead. This dual focus allows him to excel in high-stakes environments, whether he is developing cinematic sci-fi worlds or engineering high-end luxury fashion accessories.
Currently, as the Founder and Creative Director of MCA Timber Ltd, Adel leads the end-to-end design of bespoke luxury products—ranging from jewelry and footwear to hats and belts. He is also an innovator in digital workflows, having developed a proprietary “HCA” pipeline that seamlessly integrates traditional artistic methods with generative AI cloud technologies.
Adel’s career is marked by his significant contributions to major international cinema. During his tenure as Co-Founder and Creative/Art Director at Makuta VFX , he served as a key architect for some of the industry’s most acclaimed projects, including the Baahubali series, where he oversaw the 3D kingdom layouts and palace design, and RRR, where he led visual storytelling through expert matte painting and layout direction. Prior to his current venture, his role as Senior Art Director at Mihira AI allowed him to pioneer new 3D-to-AI rendering pipelines, further cementing his reputation as a leader in cinematic environment design.
With an educational foundation in Fine Arts—holding a diploma from the Isfahan Fine Art School and a Bachelor’s in Handicrafts from the Faculty of Art at Pardis University —Adel brings a classical sensibility to every digital environment he creates. Whether he is managing full-scale web ecosystems or crafting high-precision industrial set designs, his work remains driven by a commitment to master the path from concept to creation.
