Sphere Vegas
Las Vegas
About & Heritage
Sphere is a revolutionary immersive entertainment arena located just off the Las Vegas Strip, conceptualized by MSG Entertainment and designed by the architectural firm Populous. Opened on September 29, 2023, with a groundbreaking residency by U2, its mission is to redefine the future of live performance by merging cutting-edge technology with visionary artistic content. Standing 366 feet tall, the venue is wrapped in the “Exosphere,” the world’s largest exterior LED screen, which acts as a monumental digital canvas for international artists and brands. Inside, the arena features a 16K resolution wraparound LED display, a proprietary spatial audio system by Holoplot, and haptic seating that fully immerses the audience. Sphere operates as a hybrid cultural center, hosting bespoke cinematic journeys known as “Sphere Experiences,” alongside marquee concerts, major sporting events, and corporate presentations. It represents a paradigm shift in visual arts and structural engineering, offering a multi-sensory environment where digital art, cinema, and live music converge on an unprecedented scale.
- Note : (often referred to as Sphere at The Venetian Resort) Officially named simply Sphere, this iconic entertainment venue is commonly referred to as Sphere Las Vegas (or Sphere LV for short) to highlight its famous location. On social media and official platforms, you'll also frequently see it called Sphere Vegas.
